(Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Naoto Tomita; hereinafter “Adora”).
Adora provides “Kodomamo,” a security application designed to address parental concerns regarding children’s smartphone usage. The business originated as a highly impactful industry–government–academia collaboration project involving the Aichi Prefectural Police, Fujita Health University, and Adora. Within approximately one year of launch, the app has surpassed 90,000 users across Japan and South Korea.
In recent years, the widespread adoption of social media has heightened risks associated with children’s smartphone usage. Incidents involving contact with strangers leading to criminal activity, as well as issues such as bullying and online harassment among peers, have become increasingly prevalent.
Adora goes beyond traditional security applications that merely restrict access to harmful websites. By incorporating detection features for communications conducted via social media, the company provides a proactive system designed to protect children from potential dangers before incidents occur. We believe that under President Tomita’s leadership, “Kodomamo” can gain widespread adoption and deliver safety and peace of mind to both children and parents.
